𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 - 𝟏𝟔.𝟎𝟔.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 Dear investors, Let's see what happened this week in the world. 1. Tech is still the most popular, the sprices of very large companies are only going up. $AAPL (Apple) $MSFT (Microsoft) $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) all at around 3 trillion market capitalization.. The top 7 hit a new record of 32% of the whole $SPX500 2. $OIL is expected to trade at around 60USD/barrel. - Citi 3. CPI better than expected. 3,3% vs 3,4% expected. The markets love this "big positive surprize" 4. Credit card default rate hit 7,8% (small banks) - a level of 1991. Small banks - small problems? 5. US debt - it seems that it is out of control. 6. Saudi Arabia ditches US dollar and will NOT renew the 50 year 'petro-dollar' agreement with the United States. Saudi Arabia will now sell oil in multiple currencies, including the Chinese RMB, Euros, Yen, and Yuan, instead of exclusively in US dollars. 7. Trade war - EU has imposed tariffs of 48% on Chinese electric cars. I think this is already done. Nobody can compete with the "electric things" from China, Asia.. The modern european wants quality but a resonable price which the current automakers can not offer. That is all. 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: 🟥 -4,72% for the current month 🟩 Portfolio risk: 4/10 (low) 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: ➤New investments: - ➤Closed investments: - ➤Increased investments: $RUI.PA (Rubis SCA) and $EWZ ➤Reduced investments: ZIM Shipping Services I increased my investment in Rubis because it was bought with a good margin of safety and the company looks strong enough even if the oil price will fall. EWZ offers a really nice dividend of almost 7% Not a good week for the portfolio. We lost almost all the gain from 2024. I have the impression that I am going against everyone by investing in companies with a PE of 4-5. I urge you to be patient, these companies have potential, and the risk is much lower than the super popular companies. 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: No earnings, just dividends this week. Same for next week. 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, I probably will invest more in my current holdings and I think that this is one of the best moments to increase our investments.
