𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 Five of our companies have dividend related action this month. As always, please remember 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲. They do, however, form part of the total return on an investment and so I provide details here for my copiers that are interested. You should never base an investment decision solely on the dividend. That would be extremely foolish. Today we have received the dividends already earned from $NKE (NIKE) and $TGNA (TEGNA Inc) Later this month we'll qualify for dividends from $MA (Mastercard) $MC.PA (LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA) and $EVO.ST (Evolution AB ) We'll also receive dividends from $MC.PA in April. $MC.PA & $EVO.ST increased their dividends by 7.1% and 32.5%, respectively. Details of all dividends are given in the attached table. You will need to copy me or own the company directly before the ex dividend date in order to qualify for any of these dividends. You will also need to hold that position on the record date. But, once again, you should 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 make an investment based solely on a dividend. As always, the dividends will be retained in the portfolio and reinvested at an opportune time so that my copiers and I will benefit fully from compound returns. Any questions?
