Our portfolio maintained its positive momentum despite broader market weakness, reaching another all-time high with a +0.72% gain this week. The markets experienced a slight correction, which is perfectly normal, especially when valuations are stretched. Corrections of this kind are healthy, as they help prevent excessive overpricing and reduce the risk of sharper drops.
Latest inflation data came in line with expectations, while unemployment figures were slightly better than forecast. These indicators will be closely monitored by the Fed in the last quarter, as they could reshape expectations for year-end rate cuts.
Short-term corrections are a natural part of investing. What truly matters is staying focused on your long-term objectives.
