In the coming week, the economic calendar is relatively light, placing attention on key speeches from several Federal Reserve policymakers. Last week, the central bank acknowledged a slowdown in progress on inflation, though Chair Jerome Powell maintained his belief that rates would decrease further this year.
Scheduled to speak are New York Fed President John Williams and Richmond Fed President Thomas Barkin on Monday, followed by Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari on Tuesday. Later in the week, Chicago Fed President Austan Goolsbee and Fed Governor Michelle Bowman will also make appearances.
Additionally, Friday consumer confidence data will offer fresh insights into inflation expectations and the overall economic outlook, while Thursday will see the release of the weekly report on initial jobless claims.

As we near the conclusion of the first quarter earnings season, investors are eyeing several prominent companies slated to report in the upcoming week. Notable names include Disney and Uber. Additionally, within our portfolio, we have earnings reports from $NTDOY (Nintendo CO Ltd-ADR), $CSIQ (Canadian Solar Inc.), and $TSEM (Tower Semiconductor Ltd) on the horizon. Furthermore, it's worth noting the ex-dividend date for $INTC (Intel) that will make portfolio holders eligible for $0.12 per each holded.
