Portfolio Update | June 12, 2026 Good way to end the week. Markets are tracking for a positive close on news that a peace deal with Iran may be near, with a draft memorandum committing to lifting oil sanctions and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Oil dropped to around $84, easing the inflation pressure that has weighed on markets all week. $CVS (CVS Health Corp) at $101.95 (+1.46%) breaking through $100 for the first time, a significant milestone and proof that the defensive thesis has paid off while tech was under pressure. $GOOG (Alphabet) at $358.78 (+0.62%) bouncing back nicely after yesterday's Oracle-driven drag. $CEM at €15.49 (+7.94%) strong move, though on thin liquidity as usual. $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) at $204.43 (-0.21%) essentially flat, holding its ground. $AVGO (Broadcom Inc) at $378.58 (-1.81%) still digesting, the post-earnings reset continues to linger. $NFLX (Netflix, Inc.) at $80.25 (-1.26%) frustratingly quiet despite the World Cup being in full swing. $SAP (SAP SE ADR) at €140.44 (-0.66%) stabilising after the brutal -5.5% session yesterday. Overall a decent end to a tough week. The Iran peace deal, if it materialises over the weekend in Switzerland, could be the macro catalyst tech needs to break out next week. Watching closely.
