I just closed positions in $AV.L (Aviva) and $ALE (ALLETE Inc) (at 10% profit and 8% profit respectively) and the main reason is limited stock price upside in the coming future.
Aviva is a great company generously rewarding investors through dividends. However according to analysts there is only about 11% price upside potential at present.
The other company, Allete, is expected to go private for $67 per share in cash, i.e. there is only 4.5% stock price upside plus some dividends before it goes private by the end of this year.
I bought $STLAM.MI (Stellantis NV) instead - the company I have had in my watchlist for a while. It is automobile manufacturer with strong brands based in Netherlands. Analysts see 40% price upside potential for Stellantis. It is highly profitable and has a sustainable dividend yielding over 8%.... Show More
