⭐2023 Short Review and the Dividend Yield ⭐ 👍 2023 has been a very good year! Total return for the portfolio has been circa 25% including the price returns of 23.34% and an additional dividend yield of c. 1.8%. 📈 All of that while keeping a low risk score at 3! 🏆 💡 The dividend yield is often overlooked but it adds silently to your portfolio. A few short tips to increase it and maximise your benefits: ➡️ Don't invest to CFD's and instead invest to ETF's or stocks that you buy the underlying asset and therefore benefit from the dividends paid. ➡️ Don't forget to reinvest the dividends to maximise your benefits and return over the long term. ➡️ Check your current dividend yield and the assets that provide you with dividends. Click on your portfolio and then look for your portfolio stats. Your dividend yield should be indicated below. ⚠️Be Careful! ⚠️ A high dividend yield does not mean a good pick. Your decision should also go side by side with the underlying asset as you invest to the asset as well (stock, ETF etc). ➡️ Check for stability and growth. A stable and growing dividend is normally a good indicator. ➡️ Check company's/sector's fundamentals. Do they have potential for growth? You want to gain from price return as well or at least not suffer from loss. And to close this post how are your 2023 returns? 😏 $IS04.DE $SPY $SPX500 $BND $VTI $AAPL (Apple) $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation)
