This would be a premium of 28% compared with yesterday's close. Both Stripe and Advent would keep a 50%-50% stake in the company, without breaking it up. This backs the narrative that PayPal is undervalued, but a 28% premium looks too small, in my opinion, especially with PayPal trading at such a low valuation. Let's remember that PayPal's value peaked at over $360 billion dollars in 2021. However, it would finally end the pain that PayPal's shareholders have been going through in the past years.
