This phase could last a while (accumulation phase) and the transition to Euphoria is often triggered by an external event (Powell turning dovish? new Fed Chair announced for May? A trade agreement? 𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐩 𝐧𝐨𝐰. Rate cuts may be delayed but they are coming and will fuel renewed optimism, FOMO and euphoria. I bought more $BTC and more shares of high growth companies such as Blackstone and sold my more defensive positions $CIVI (Civitas Resources Inc.) (a merger has been announced) and $PEP (PepsiCo) which continues to disappoint earnings wise. It’s a great buying opportunity as the sell-off is based on nothing fundamental but emotions.
