Iran quagmire and the unfolding supply crunch Oil, but also fertilisers are stuck in the Gulf, not being able to get out as both Iran and the US seem to compete to see who does the best blockade. This will inevitably affect supplies, and since ships cannot travel at the speed of a plane, even once the Strait of Hormuz re-opens, it will take a long time for those ships to get out. The consequences are not known to me, and I don't play predictive markets. I sit and wait, and let the management of by invested companies deal with it. The long-term remains sound and unchanged, and that is what I keep my eye on. The moat remain intact, and that is in my opinion my best defense.
