The eToro web UI works. But for someone who lives in a terminal, it's slow to context-switch. So I built an eToro TUI. ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ผ-๐˜๐˜‚๐—ถ โ€” a Bloomberg-style live dashboard for eToro portfolios. Refreshes every 5 seconds, FX-converts everything to USD, overlays fundamentals and analyst opinions (P/E, target upside, buy %) as well as BUY / HOLD / SELL signals from open-source data sources. The tool only calls eToro's read endpoints โ€” portfolio and market data. When you generate the API key, set permission to READ. etoro-tui never needs Write. ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜'๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ถ๐˜: - Live equity, cash, P&L โ€” ฮ”day from yesterday's close - Inline indices ($SPX500, $NSDQ100, $DJ30) - 3-tier color grading on ฮ”day and Profit so magnitude pops at a glance - Setup wizard with macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Manager / Linux Secret Service / .env ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ: trade, deposit, withdraw, modify orders, post anywhere, or phone home. No telemetry. Source is MIT and auditable. The data sources are also open: live prices via eToro's Public API, daily fundamental signals from my etorotrade, popular-investor census from my etoro_census. Local-first, GitHub-fallback when source repos aren't cloned. Open-sourced at: github.com/weirdapps/etoro-tui Not investment advice โ€” sharing a tool, not a strategy.
