On Wednesday, the S&P 500 tested the psychologically significant 5000 level, but on Thursday there was a reversal. Significant gains on Thursday and Friday moved the weekly candle into the green spectrum. Even with Tuesday's drop and Wednesday's slight loss, the index did not break the 5000 barrier, and is currently above the 20-day moving average and at the 50-day moving average. The daily chart thus vacillates on the edge between a positive and a negative setup in the short term. See the chart in the comment. The S&P 500 is trending without a clear direction. The 5,050 to 5,180 band can be extended to 5000 to 5180. The nearest support appears to be at 5000, followed by an important support at 4800. The nearest resistance is at 5180 and the next at the all-time high around 5260. The VIX volatility index (the so-called fear index, which measures market volatility) continued to decline. It closed below the moving averages on Thursday and Friday and continues to be a positive sign for the stock. โšก ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ โšก The S&P 500 lost 4.16% in April. It was the first losing month since last October. Nevertheless, the market started May in style. The well-known saying โ€œSell in May and Go Awayโ€ has not been confirmed in recent years, we will see this year. $SPX500 $NSDQ100 $DJ30 $USDOLLAR
