Is it me, or am I just rubbish at this. Since February, i have held all of my positions in a mix of ETFs, Crypto alts and BTC etc. and stocks and yet my money hasn't gone up at all. All of my positions has just fluctuated up and down. I made real returns last year, buying and selling frequently and ended up nearly doubling my money. But this buy and hold strategy just isn't working for me at all. I may as well keep my money in cash.
I am thinking of selling everything, and just putting all the money into 2-3 strategic assets that I have seen real rises from. Is that a good idea, do you think? Or am I just impatient? I am sick and tired of this yo yo nonsense. It seems like forever and a day with no gains.
I keep reading of others making huge percentage gains, holding the same kind of assets as I have. What am I doing wrong?
