End of May 2022 Update (total holding +/- shown in brackets) May has seen declines begin to tail off, with technology making up most of the ~1.7% drop. $EZJ.L (easyJet) (-35%) and $IAG.L (International Consolidated Airlines) (-19%) lost 5% and 9% respectively as staffing and flight cancellation pressures continue. $BHP (BHP Group Ltd ADR) (+29%) has continued its recover and leads in Minerals with a gain of over 5% in May. Health Technology has seen $SN.L (Smith & Nephew) (+2%) hold steady, $GSK.L (GlaxoSmithKline) (+12%) fall back by 4% and $ILMN (Illumina) (-41%) by almost 20%. $NOC (Northrop Grumman Corp) (+6%) leads Electronic Technology with a gain of over 6% this month, with $LMT (Lockheed Martin Corporation) (+1%) following almost 2% up. $INTC (Intel) (-10%) has also gained around 2% whilst $AAPL (Apple) (90%) lags behind, losing over 5%. $LCID (Lucid Group Inc) (-28%) finally improved in May gaining over 11%, $NIO (Nio Inc.-ADR) (-47%) has also moved towards the positive slightly with a gain of around 4%. Whilst $TSLA (Tesla Motors, Inc.) (-20%) lost around 10% for the second month in a row. Lastly $VOW3.DE (Volkswagen AG) (-10%) saw steady growth to an increase of 3%. June may well be as unpredictable as May as war and global concerns continue to drive fear and uncertainty.
