Overnight, Asian stocks rose from 11-month lows as investors cheered China's approval of a 1 trillion yuan ($137 billion) sovereign bond issue as a harbinger of stimulus, although MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan were little changed. 👉Corporate News 👈 👨‍💻 Shares of Alphabet Inc. plunged nearly 10% after the Google parent reported disappointing cloud services revenue, reviving fears of an economic slowdown and dragging down the broader communication services sector. 👨‍💻 Texas Instruments reported lackluster third-quarter earnings results, weighing on other semiconductor stocks. The company posted revenue of $4.532 billion, below the FactSet consensus estimate of $4.579 billion. Shares of Texas Instruments shed 4%. 👨‍💻  Nvidia lost 4%, and AMD and Intel each dropped some 5%. 👨‍💻 Apple closed 1.35% lower at $171.10 per share. Bloomberg's well-known Apple columnist Mark Gurman yesterday wrote an article that Apple plans to overhaul its AirPods series from top to bottom to bring new changes to one of Apple's best-selling products. 👨‍💻 ASML closed down 0.34% at $560.70 per share.
