$NU (Nu Holdings Ltd.) | Q2 earnings: this is what I want to see from a long term compounder. 🇧🇷 Nu Holdings just delivered another record quarter. Revenue: $5.88B, +39% YoY Net income: $1.06B, +49% YoY Customers: 138.9M, +13% YoY ROE: 33% Credit portfolio: $39.4B, +37% YoY And for the first time, quarterly net income passed $1 billion. What stands out to me isn't just the growth. It's the combination of growth and profitability at this scale. $NU is adding millions of customers while increasing revenue per active customer, expanding its credit portfolio and generating a very strong return on equity. There is one thing I'm watching closely: credit quality. Early stage delinquencies improved to 4.8%, while the cost of credit fell sequentially. However, credit costs are still significantly higher than a year ago, so this remains an important risk to monitor as the loan book expands. For my 5+ year thesis, though, this is exactly the kind of quarter I want to see. More customers. More revenue. More profit. High ROE. And increasing scale. The thesis isn't about one exceptional quarter. It's about whether $NU can keep compounding from here. After Q2, I'm still very comfortable with that thesis! Let's go! -Ionel $NSDQ100 $SPX500
