TikTok Deal Still in Play Donald Trump and Xi Jinping held another phone call to discuss TikTok. While no final deal has been signed yet, Trump said the agreement is “on the way,” with investors already lined up, only the signature remains. 🔹 Trump also confirmed he will meet Xi at the APEC summit in South Korea and plans to visit China in early 2026. 🔹 China’s Xinhua news agency stressed that any deal must respect market principles and Chinese law, calling for an open and fair business environment. 🔹 TikTok, owned by ByteDance, is still under legal pressure to either divest its U.S. operations or face a ban. Trump has already pushed the deadline multiple times, with the latest set for December 16. The TikTok saga isn’t just about one app. It reflects the broader U.S.–China relationship. Every step toward cooperation reduces uncertainty, something markets value highly. For investors, geopolitics may move headlines, but long-term returns are always driven by strong businesses. $SPX500 | $NSDQ100
