Chanuka Weerasinghe
We are up roughly 13% on the year and might hit that 30% mark by Christmas. Yes, I had to reduce my total financial exposure to the market because the manipulation on all sides has become obvious. The way people are behaving makes it seem as though there is no future beyond 2026, with everyone chasing short-term gains and ignoring the wider risks. That said, there is plenty in the pot, and I remain committed to making the strongest decisions possible. I accept that reducing exposure may affect my risk score in the short term, and I am prepared to take that hit. My priority is protecting the overall position while continuing to pursue the best possible returns. I would rather adjust intelligently to current conditions than remain overexposed simply to satisfy expectations or maintain appearances. Ultimately, I am trading for myself and making decisions based on what I believe is right for my own portfolio. I am not trading to please followers, prove anything publicly, or encourage anyone else to copy my positions. If you are following and find value in what I share, then take the benefit where it suits you. But everyone must assess their circumstances, manage their own risk, and make their own decisions. My responsibility is to my capital and strategy.
