WEDNESDAY WIND-UP SUMMARY An unfortunately negative week on poor movements in Crypto and transport stocks. However it was made slightly brighter by some positive movements in chinese stocks. PORTFOLIO MOVEMENT 7 Days (-2.94%) ❌❌ 1 Month (-1.03%) ✔️ 6 Months (+14.84%)✔️✔️ 12M (+37.26%) ✔️✔️ NEW POSITIONS $SPCE (Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc) - After the hype died down from their first space-flight, this stock has plummeted down in price. The current price is, in my opinion, a bargain and I've re-invested in Virgin Galactic for the medium term. I expect this to pay off nicely whenever they make their next progress announcement, and when they start making regular commercial flights. CLOSED POSITIONS N/A NOTABLE POSITIONS $BTC & $XRP - Another disappointing slide in Crypto came about this week and we see the currencies edging further away from all time highs. I believe for now that this is just a case of the market settling down a little after a massive bullrun. I don't expect this to indicate anything terrible and I expect crypto to build up to another bullrun in the future. Stay tuned! $NIO (Nio Inc.-ADR) - The very positive movements in the EV space have finally started to touch our chinese EV powerhouse just a little. We will hold onto this for longer to wait for the next influx of people purchasing for their vision of the automobile industry's future. NIO has been quite quiet for a while now, but I don't expect that to last forever. $0916.HK (China Longyuan) & $PDD (PDD Holdings Inc - ADR) - Our other disappointing chinese positions. These have continued to be problematic since purchase, although have lightened up a little towards the end of the week covered by this wind-up. I may increase positios in Longyuan, as I beleive their work is very future-proof. Patience will pay. That's all for this rather slow and disappointing week. Thank you as always to my copiers, and for the influx of copiers I've receieved this week! I appreciate it very much. We will remain patient and watch the red turn green. Onwards to early retirement! NOTE ON COPYING Due to a lot of copiers joining then dropping their position with me after a day or two, I wanted to make some things clear: - Copy Minimum Duration: I recommend AT LEAST 3 months copying with me, preferably upwards of 6 months. Copying for lower durations is much more akin to just gambling, especially if you're only copying for a couple days. You're paying the spread on all the positions you open, so short positions like this are just a waste of money (although I'm sure Etoro will thank you for it!) - Copy amount: I don't have any strong opinions on the amount you should use to copy. Copy with whatever you can. I believe the minimum copy amount on Etoro is $200, which is enough for me considering my relatively small number of positions.
