🟢 I'm back from snowboarding and I didn't break my legs! Imagine coming home from an epic week with friends to find your favourite stock $SOFI (SoFi Technologies Inc) had fantastic earnings, and dropped in price! Thank you MR Market, I would love to buy more. I've updated my models and I'm still very excited about the next few years for this company. Investors seem to have forgotten we knew about this a fair while ago and management already baked this into their 2026 guidance. So its a nothing burger for me. It's been a perfect year, likely some profit taking since tangible book value is high when comped to traditional banks. Not really accounting for aggressive growth though. Dilution fears from the huge capital raise. Again, I wrote a long article on Patreon about how excited I was about this cash grab and all the ways they could use it to increase their growth rates over the next few years. So i see this as very accretive. Possibly lower than expected guidance for full year 2026. Honestly a silly reason to sell this stock when you take note of their beat and raise consistency. Fed chair announcement and people flapping about the potential of less cuts. Overblown in my opinion. 🟢 My plan: Continue to add on any weakness here. With my updated models I now see a healthy amount of upside potential in this stock and I'm happy to let this swell to around a 15% weighting. Fingers crossed I can add some below $20.
