As we approach the new year, I want you to know that your faith in me is not taken lightly. This past week has been very intense as I have made technical and non-technical analysis on every stock we hold, to prepare and rebalance the portfolio for 2024. 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒐: - I took profits on $TMHC (Taylor Morrison Home Corp) . Now the whole remaining position is only build by the profits we had in this investments, which I think its great - I took partial profits on $META (Meta Platforms Inc) GOOGLE $AMZN (Amazon.com Inc) and PAYPAL, thus also limiting our exposure on the FAANG and $NSDQ100 - I took partial profits on ESSENT GROUP and ALLY FINANCIALS thus also slightly reducing our exposure to the US insurance/financial sector. - I closed and reopened some unprofitable positions in SolarEdge, $BABA (Alibaba-ADR) and UNFI . This was basically made for two reasons: tax harvesting (to balance the tax on realized profits, if any in your country) and for portfolio rebalancing (to increase the correlation between the % of invested money and the actual value of the position) - I increased existing positions in several European stocks that underperformed over the past two years as Glaxosmithkline, $VOW3.DE (Volkswagen AG) and KBC BANK which i) still have a good growth margin, and ii) pay a reliable and healthy dividend These changes have also led the portfolio to sit on about 10% of cash.
