Exact science a cancer diagnostics company, focused on screening and early detection using liquid biopsy (detecting cancer from blood tests).
Exact science was already up 25% yesterday, and today it exploded another 17% after Abbott officially confirmed the acquisition bringing us to +50% profit on this trade.
Yet another profitable biotech move in my portfolio.
While everyone else is busy talking about the AI bubble and macro data… biotech plays by completely different rules.
In this sector, individual company news dominates everything, M&A, clinical data, FDA decisions. Macro sentiment have marginal role.

Other players in the liquid biopsy have been outperforming recently indicating that this technology have finally reach a level of maturity to bring a significant benefits to patients.
