Peter Lynch introduced us to this term in his book β€œOne Up on Wall Street”, which is a stock in which you’ve made ten times your money. ⚾️ Its origin is from baseball, when the home run or fourbagger is the biggest achievement; in investment, a tenbagger is the equivalent of two home runs and a double. For us, the retail investors, finding just one tenbagger is enough to make our dreams come true. For example, early Apple investors saw their money grow more than 100x. That’s not just a tenbagger, that’s a hundredbagger. πŸ—’οΈ Since I found many new investors on this platform, I realize that maybe the financial jargon isn’t quite yet in your vocabulary and might sound discouraging, starting in a world with its own dialect.
