Sunday update for my copiers and followers. Weeks like this are the real test of copy trading. The news flow was loud enough to shake anyone out. Portfolio shakes a bit but ended the week +1.4%, with part of the recent drawdown already back. July is still slightly red. Year-to-date holds at +25%. What actually moved things: Iran and the US traded strikes again over the weekend, and Tehran declared the Strait of Hormuz closed until further notice. Oil ended the week up around 4%. China added a temporary helium export ban on Friday, which matters more than it sounds, since helium is a core input for chipmaking. And still, the $SPX500 and $NSDQ100 closed near record highs. Every scary headline got bought within a day or two. That is this market in one line. I left positioning alone. Power keeps carrying the load. GE Vernova’s data-center order pipeline is huge, and hyperscaler capex guidance keeps climbing toward $750B for the year. That is the infrastructure the whole AI build runs on. $GEV (GE Vernova LLC) and $CEG (Constellation Energy Corp) are how I own it. Memory had a louder week. Micron raised its investment guidance, HBM is sold out deep into next year, and DRAM pricing keeps rising. It also swings hard intraday, which comes with the territory. $MU (Micron Technology, Inc.) stays a conviction hold for now. Monday could be choppy. More Hormuz headlines, more moves in oil and sentiment. None of it changes the thesis. Power and memory are multi-year stories, and I measure my horizon in years, not news cycles. I’m not trading the headlines. I’m holding the build-out. So here’s my question for you: does Hormuz actually threaten the AI power and memory thesis, or is it just another headline to fade?
