A week away from Berkshire's AGM This will be Greg's first time leading the AGM, with Warren sitting in the front row. With record-high cash, Greg will be judged by his ability and willingness to swing hard next time there is a big opportunity to do so, as well as by his attitude towards cash. Recently, Berkshire has done some buy-backs, a tool less frequently used by Warren who has favoured cash over buybacks. However, Greg will not be able to dismiss pressure the way Warren has. An interesting combination will be Greg's interaction with Ted Weschler, who runs part of the equity investments at Berkshire - in particular when the moment to swing hard come around.
