💡 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 💡 Dear followers and copiers, Below are my thoughts on the current market situation, and what I'm monitoring. 📌 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Exactly one month ago, Trump said: "This Great Deal will bring Peace and Security to the whole Region. Many presidents have tried to make Peace with Iran, and all have failed before me. The Leaders of the Region have, for the first time, found a President who can help them achieve real Peace." As always, it turns out to be quite disconnected from the reality. $OIL 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲, and the US are reinstating tonight a blockade on Iranian ships. This has fueled some weakness and nervousness in the hot tech and semi stocks, as 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. Here, once again I want to highlight that 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀, and also that the 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹. Example: the 20% charge Trump said he would set for ships going through the Hormuz Strait, as a fair reimbursement of the US military involvement in the security of the region. This has now been replaced by promises of investments from the Gulf countries into the US. Therefore, it's 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲, unless something truly significant arises. 📌 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: The 𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗣𝗜 (Consumer Price Index) data for June was out today, and 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝘁 𝟯.𝟱% (vs 4.2% last month and forecast of 3.8%). This is a great news and is fueling today's rally, as a rate hike in July now seems less likely. However, oil prices climbing back up means the inflation threat is still looming around, so I'm watching it closely. 📌 𝗤𝟮 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻: This is the most important thing I'm following (although I somehow kept it last for this post - a bit less hot of a news maybe?) 𝗤𝟮 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀, and this is really what matters for the portfolio, as either: ✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱, and you can buy more or hold ❌ 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and you should review your investment I'll update on the different key stocks in my portfolio as the time comes.
