Hello to all my copiers and followers πŸ™‚ Renewed tensions between US and Iran have again weighed on the markets, as has the semi-conductor sell off. As a result, the portfolios progress this year remains slow. However, we are making small steps forward and I am continuing to add to the portfolio where I believe there are long term opportunities. As I focus on the long term, I see the recent β€œflat” progress as just a temporary hold back and I am not overly concerned. Q2 earnings season is now underway, and market expectations are high. So even strong reports could trigger some profit taking sell offs. There is still a good chunk left in our cash position, so I will be watching closely for any bargains to add to our portfolio or increase positions further over the next few weeks. Later this month we also have both the FED FOMC and BOE MPC, where a hold in interest rates is widely predicted. So, the next few weeks will be busy and most likely volatile. All good fun! πŸ™‚ As always, a big thank you to you all, for your trust and support on here πŸ™‚ All the best, Jen πŸ™‚ Scheduled Earnings Release Dates (all subject to change): 16th July GE 22nd July GOOG UK CPI 23rd July INTC & TTE.PA 24th July AXP 28th July V 28/29 July FED FOMC 29th July MSFT & META 30th July AAPL, AMZN, SHE.L, RR.L, BA.L BOE MPC US PCE 4th August AMD, CAT & BP.L 5th August LLY, SHOP & GLEN.L 6th August NVO, CEG, YETI & RHM.DE
