𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹’𝘀 𝟭𝟬 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸-𝗢𝗻: 𝗜𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁? ♦️ The Russell 2000 (small cap US equities) is up over 10% in the past two weeks, so we are clearly seeing appetite for risk-on as markets price in the December rate cut and potentially further monetary easing into 2026. ♦️ I've shown before in posts how the Russell2000 correlates nicely with crypto cycles especially in euphoric movements upwards and fearful moves downwards. As crypto investors, we need to watch the Russell as it acts as a guide to risk-on sentiment in the markets. ♦️ There is quite a bit of history showing that the Russell can move upwards first, and there can be a delay of a few weeks before Cryptocurrency moves up on the whole to match the correlation. ♦️ I actually pasted these yellow bars a few weeks ago, and price seems to be tracking them fairly well! (The yellow bars on the chart.) So there is historic evidence to suggest ANOTHER 10% move in the Russell from today's prices, before the end of December. If we do get further movement upwards like this and clear impulsive price action from RTY then I believe crypto should absolutely follow in an explosive manner. ♦️ The indicator overlay is Equinox Valley by Geometric. He describes it thus: "I've re imagined Ichimoku to read 3 different timeframes and create a terrain for a land I've named Equinox Valley. When the skies are sunny and the terrain is lush and sloping upward, with green grass and a river flowing through the land beneath, it’s a good time to be in the markets. It's springtime in Equinox Valley. The price bouncing off the grass is good, but when it dips into the water, it could get dangerous. And when it’s in the soil, it can be hard to get out. When the clouds appear, and the greenery and water disappear, and all we have is barren land then it's winter in Equinox Valley, and we shouldn’t be in the market." ♦️ So, as you can see, the conditions are looking good for continued upwards momentum; both from a TA perspective and from a macroeconomic angle.
