Passing the +30% YTD mark is another big milestone — achieved through consistent discipline, risk management, and momentum trading during volatile months. Since the start of this portfoilio in 2020 we even made +200%. (In comparison the $SPX500 rose only +16% YTD) Using every dip and every peak to buy and sell small portions— not just monthly or weekly, but every single day of the week, and even every hour of the day. That’s how we reach over 3,000 closed trades per year — 100% green. At the same time we keep our risk as low as possible (Risk 3) - This combination of high performance and low risk is unique on the platform and in general. 🌍 While some markets are a bit high in my opnion, they still keep going up month after month. This week they rise once again after the US solved the shutdown problem. 📊 I notice that whenever markets fall on negative news, they often tend to rise even stronger once that event is solved, reversed, or turns out better than feared. This repeating pattern of fear and relief is exactly what we trade — capturing the upswings that follow every overreaction. At the same time I think when this happens several months in a row, markets could be priced a bit too high. If for example markets went down 1% on bad news, and than rebound 2% a week later without a real market improvement, that is ok for me. But when this happens 20 times in a row. Well, that could be a good time to check if there is not too much air in the market. ❓ Did anyone notice that our largest share positions are actually DOWN a lot this year? Look at $DSFIR.NV (DSM-FIRMENICH AG) , $AES (AES Corp) , $NVO (Novo-Nordisk A/S SPONS ADR) ; All bad performers this year. Besides that we have some cash, which is doing nothing. However that doesn mean you can't have great portfolio results using a good strategy and trading system.
