Hello to all my copiers and followers π
Firstly, a look to the week ahead. It will be a crucial one on the markets with the first FOMC Meeting of the year. A rate cut is unlikely, forward guidance will be keenly awaited.
Also, this week, big Tech Earnings from MSFT, META, AAPL & TSLA. Earnings from V & AXP too.
(GOOG & AMZN to follow next week).
So, this week there is potential for more volatility.
We have seen some volatility over the last few weeks, which I used to open several positions β increases to existing positions and new cautious positions in European defence stocks.
Secondly, an update on my account. Today I have met with my eToro account manager to further discuss reopening my account to new copiers. Unfortunately, it is still blocked, but there are now new steps that I can take over the coming weeks to get the account reopened. I am hoping that this can be done within the next four to six weeks π I will keep you all updated.
Lastly, account deposit: I will be making a deposit (20% of the portfolio) to my account on the 1st March. In the past when I have made deposits, it has affected copiers portfolios. However, I have been advised that is not the case anymore and existing copiers do not have to do anything. Your accounts will be automatically aligned with mine within 48 hours. Alternatively, if you wish to add further funds with me, then this will be a good time to do so.
