ᴍʏ ᴡᴏʀꜱᴛ ᴛʀᴀᴅᴇ - ꜱᴏ ꜰᴀʀ It was Wednesday, April 19th, 2023. In the heart of the Southern world, where the Andes whisper ancient tales, Chilean spring bloomed, a spectacle of nature's grace. That morning, at "El Mono" cafe, I opened my laptop with one hypothesis in my mind: Whoever is buying $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) these days, is an idiot. But among my list of long candidates, there was this company with excellent numbers, a provider of critical infrastructure and services for data centers. Which made it more interesting, it seemed few people were paying attention to it, which is always a promising combination. This week I closed my $VRT (Vertiv Holdings Co) position, at a profit of, wait for it, 𝟱𝟵𝟱.𝟭𝟭%. But Carlos, that seems a helluva good trade. Yes, my friend, but what I regret the most is that I only exposed 2% of my portfolio to it. I should've gone all-in. Remember what I said about NVDA three paragraphs ago? Well, in September I finally bought it, and it is now my biggest allocation, and with God as my witness, I am that idiot. Other positions I closed this week: $VGR (Vector Group Ltd) $FMX (Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB-ADR) $LEU (Centrus Energy Corp) $IRDM (Iridium Communications Inc) New positions this week: $ANET (Arista Networks Inc) $DFH (Dream Finders Homes Inc) $SHEN (Shenandoah Telecommunications Company) $VOLV-B.ST (Volvo AB ser. B) $LPX (Louisiana-Pacific Corp) $JAKK (JAKKS Pacific Inc) Have a nice weekend, Carlos PS: I took the picture below. From Kadıköy, my neighborhood these days.
