U.S. healthcare providers are facing a common challenge: overutilization and higher costs are compressing margins, particularly for Medicaid and Medicare providers. Molina is one of the biggest players in this space.
However, this situation is likely temporary. Updated annual premium rates should start reflecting these higher expenses in 2026. Molinaโs position as a low-cost provider in this group is an advantage, but a lower-than-expected guidance for 2025 still caused the share price to drop 20%. Since this is a relatively small position, the portfolioโs overall exposure to the decline was minimal. I believe U.S. healthcare providers will see significant premium pricing improvement in 2026, so I plan to increase this holding.

"Itโs a dead business!" This is the common sentiment among many Wall Street analysts and stablecoin enthusiasts. But not only is Western Union not dead, itโs remarkably cheap! The company has successfully stabilized its revenues and expects to resume growth by 2026. Currently, we benefit from an attractive 15% yield (dividend + buybacks) while we wait.
They are exploring innovative ways to use stablecoins in corridors where users are unbanked. For instance, if someone sends stablecoins from the U.S. to a user in Sub-Saharan Africa, the recipient can store those US dollar stablecoins in their WU digital wallet and cash them out at any WU location. The scale and moat of this global network of stores (+400,000) could potentially transform WU into a highly innovative fintech company.
Iโm excited about these upcoming opportunities. As this position accounts for almost 17% of the portfolio (at cost), today's 10% jump in the stock price was quite meaningful to the overall performance. I am not going to predict what the share price will do in the short term, but I plan to hold and increase the position when favorable opportunities arise.
