Good afternoon from a sunny London guys, I hope you've all had a good weekend wherever you are? An overdue update post for you all with a fair few moves made since the last update. Copiers will have seen the portfolio churn quite a lot over the past two weeks, thankfully to our benefit as we are now comfortably beating both $NDQ & $BTC both year to date and more importantly on the 5 year chart for those long-term investors. We are currently sitting on a 22% return ytd vs 16% from our closest benchmark $NDQ. . In recent weeks I have been very active on account of the market being very 'theme driven' and I've been in and out of different positions to try to maximise what has been working/what has ceased to work. We've stayed very focused on the Space theme with $RKLB (Rocket Lab Corp) , $BKSY (Blacksky Technology Inc) , $HAWK (HawkEye 360, Inc) and we were heavily positioned in the other hot sector of late A.I/Chips with positions in $SAND & $MU (Micron Technology, Inc.) - both positions have now been sold for profits and replaced with $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) which hasn't had the same hype as of late. Recently, Quantum has seen a resurgence hence $RGTI (Rigetti Computing Inc) being re-added to the portfolio after being absent for a few months. Crypto FINALLY delivered us a bit of performance this week with $HYPE returning us about a $500 profit for the week which I sold and then re-bought a tiny position in upon today's breakout. Another addition to the portfolio (and a strange one I know) is weapons maker $SWBI (Smith & Wesson Brands Inc) , this company is probably the ultimate recession predicting gauge - just check out the chart. It climbs steadily into slowdowns when Americans start to worry about their personal security again - the stock is starting an ascent now but it's only early days. Check the attached chart and dialogue from Real Vision to see why I say we expect more bullish momentum to come. In short we should still have a few months of good gains to come before we need to consider getting defensive again so for now we continue the same game plan which will keep me engaged and active. Many thanks guys, James
