However, I still own considerable portion of these companies through ETFs. 🔹ɢᴇᴏꜱ: By diversifying across the US and global markets, I aim to balance fluctuations in one market with performance in another, making the portfolio more resilient to declines in any single region. 70% lies in US companies with worldwide scope and 30% global. (eg. $SIE.DE (Siemens Aktiengesellschaft) $1810.HK (Xiaomi Corp), $0700.HK (Tencent), $RYAAY (Ryanair Holdings plc-ADR)) 🔹ɴᴏ ᴄʀʏᴘᴛᴏ ɪɴ ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴘᴏʀᴛꜰᴏʟɪᴏ: I consider trading or holding crypto to be too speculative for a serious investment portfolio I am presenting to you here. I hold a small amount of money in crypto separately and if you are considering doing the same, I would suggest you stick to the following: Only invest money you are prepared to lose. I do not believe that something like #BTC will crash to nothing tomorrow, but thinking this way makes it much easier to cope with high volatility. General rule is to own <5% of your net worth in crypto. 🔹ɴᴏ ꜰᴏʀᴇx, ᴄᴏᴍᴏᴅɪᴛɪᴇꜱ ᴏʀ ɢᴏʟᴅ: I do not trade intra-day and i am not trying to make money on derivates speculations. If you consider owning gold valuable for dooms day / SHTF scenarios, consider owning a physical gold. I do not think that owning a gold as form of investement is profitable over long term (supported by historical data) 🔹ᴄᴀꜱʜ ᴀɴᴅ ᴅᴏʟʟᴀʀ ᴄᴏꜱᴛ ᴀᴠᴇʀᴀɢɪɴɢ: I will try to keep cash holding to minimum and I am going to invest more money over time. I am going to actively rebalance any bigger future deposits. ✅ Tax optimization ETF portfolio consists predominantly of 𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗦 (meaning EU regulated) ETFs, domiciled in Ireland and with accumulated dividend distribution [𝘼𝙘𝙘]. meaning all the dividend payouts are reinvested automatically. $SXR8.DE You do not have to worry about reinvestement and in some countries its tax advantageous, meaning you are not paying taxis on these dividends (as you are technically not getting them). Individual stocks pick is not dividend driven and overal dividend payout of portfolio is below 1%. more info why etf domicile matter in later posts. ✅ Investment advice Never be afraid to start saving for your future. As Warren said, best time to start investing was 10 years ago and second best time is now! Consider saving at least 10% of your income, to be able to mantain your standard of living at retirement age.
