I‘m that „numbers guy“ who doesn‘t panic over News or listens to the broad chatter. I don‘t try to predict stock movements as nobody really can do this and I don‘t trade based on emotions. note: I would call myself „small quant“ if this was a description someone would understand. So „numbers guy“ is fine for me. Statistics and probability are the most fundamental tools I use to determine where to put my and your money. The main strategy relies on average stock movements as stocks tend to go in the direction of the trend. Entry points are important, but the real gains are made by money and trade management. For this reason I don‘t just buy and hold as everybody basically could do this. No, my goal is to follow the (technical) trends and lock in profits if a stock goes up, or if it goes down. I only trade when the market is closed to set orders for the next day. You don't have to look at the charts 24/7, you just have to manage the portfolio right. I usually hold for days to weeks, sometimes few month. I manage each position every evening for the best outcome. Persistence is the key for successful trading. Automated trailing stops may be used but usually I trail stops manually every evening. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗺𝗲? 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮! The minimum amount is 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗨𝗦𝗗. No copying of open trades needed.
