It is the worldโ€™s oldest stock market, tracing its roots back to 1602. This makes it two centuries older than the better-known New York or London exchanges. The AEX is the continents 4th largest stock market, after France, Switzerland, and Germany. It stands out from other European markets with its high tech sector weighting. This is led by semiconductor equipment stock ASML, payments company ADYEN, and Tencent investor Prosus. This makes its sector composition closer to that of the US, and typically gives the index a higher overall valuation. Holland is Europeโ€™s 5th largest economy, with a long trading history, and hosts many global businesses including oil major Shell, consumer goods giant Unilever, the worldโ€™s 3rd largest brewer Heineken, and biggest record label Universal Music. $NL25, $ASML.NV (ASML Holding NV), $HEIO.NV (Heineken Holding NV), $HEIA.NV (Heineken), $ADYEN.NV (Adyen NV) โš ๏ธPlease note, this is not investment adviceโš ๏ธ
