Portfolio update – June 2026 AtlasCapital June -3.5% SP500 June -0.95% AltasCapital YTD -0.43% SP500 YTD 10.2% My portfolio performance YTD isn't impressive, as I'm essentially flat. However, given my long-term perspective, this doesn't bother me at all. I am not buying a lot currently. I am accumulating funds to be employed once an opportunity crystallizes. Next market drawdown, in combination with my proprietary AC magic formula of investing, will make me reach. After a decade of learning and struggling to outperform the market, I think I found a graal of investing. AC magic formula emerged in April 2025 and achieved over 100% CAGR since then, significantly surpassing the S&P 500. This is truly incredible return, isn’t it? I don’t think any well-known hedge fund managers can achieve this. There are a couple of folks on social media like X/Reddit who actually performed better, but the question should be how sustainable is their strategy long-term? Can they keep outperforming? Same applies to AC magic formula, of course. Here, because it is formula based, it should not depend on a significant element of luck going forward. Will keep you guys updated on performance. I do regret not investing real money earlier into this strategy, but it’s not a big deal (other than missing on tens of thousands dollars in return =)). The key point is that the formula is delivering. Even if AC magic formula does not work in the future, I am not going to be disappointed. Experience and the courage to go against the crowd when markets are melting are more important. So far though, historical data strongly support my optimism. I am preparing for the ride. Now, back to my boring real portfolio. Transactions ➖ N/A. ➕ Only added a bit of META, which I view as very attractive at this point. Also shared my DCF working with subs, quite an undervalued stock. Stress test If SP500 collapses by 50%, our portfolio is expected to drop by 34%. Talking about drawdowns is important - it helps us stay prepared. During drawdown, most investors/traders tend to either do nothing (which is acceptable) or sell. I don't do either. Instead, I buy aggressively. When there's a drawdown of more than 20%, it's like getting dollar bills for 50 cents, which is an opportunity that should not be missed! The 34% potential drawdown looks quite high for me, thus I am disposing some shares in July to bring that expected value slightly lower. Keeping drawdown under control is the exact reason why I am not allocating funds into AC magic formula. I also believe those shares selected in April 2025 are overvalued after such a great run-up.
