Portfolio Restructuring: The Final Pieces & The Alpha Shift I outlined the strategy on Monday, but for those who missed it: I am fundamentally reshaping the portfolio for the next 3 to 5 years. The goal is straightforward, maximizing alpha and building a highly concentrated, future proof structure. We already took the first tactical steps to secure the final names for this setup. The New Additions With yesterday's moves, our universe of stocks is officially complete. We now have the exact exposure we want. + $VRT (Vertiv Holdings Co) : A brand new addition to the portfolio. I picked up a 1% starter position yesterday. Vertiv is a critical bottleneck player in AI data center infrastructure (cooling and power management). + $AVGO (Broadcom Inc) : After some time away, this quality giant is back. I took a small initial bite yesterday to scale in selectively as the tech sector cools off. The Cuts (Over the Coming Weeks) To fund these high conviction plays and streamline the portfolio, we are making some aggressive cuts. We are moving away from certain mega caps to consolidate capital where the highest upside lives. The following positions will be entirely eliminated over the next few weeks: $MSFT (Microsoft) $GOOG (Alphabet) $META (Meta Platforms Inc) $BABA (Alibaba-ADR) $UNH (UnitedHealth) $NVO (Novo-Nordisk A/S SPONS ADR) We are swapping broad tech and traditional defensive anchors for targeted operational engines. Market Volatility & Patience The broader market pullback actually plays right into our hands. A deeper correction in the Nasdaq 100 is exactly what we want during a restructuring like this, it will allow us to build out the rest of these high alpha positions at much more attractive entry prices. I know this transitional phase can feel uncomfortable, especially since we are currently trailing the benchmark. But this is exactly when execution and discipline matter most. Block out the short term noise. The strategy is solid, and patience will be rewarded. No financial advice, just my opinion and doing. Regards Ionel Poll Question: Which of our portfolio cuts surprises you the most?
