Is $OIL the Next Investment Opportunity Beyond Silver and Gold? Oil has been in a downtrend since 2022, forming a large falling wedge pattern that typically signals a potential breakout to the upside. While further downward momentum is possible, I believe that any price below $60—down to the $50 level—represents a buying opportunity. The 61.8% Fibonacci retracement aligns with the $50 mark, which also coincides with the lower boundary of the wedge. My current portfolio exposure to oil companies, specifically within the energy minerals sector, is approximately 5.5%. Over the next five months, I plan to increase this exposure to around 10%. At present, my holdings include $HESM (Hess Midstream) $CTRA (Coterra EnerCoterra Energy Inc) $MGY (Magnolia Oil & Gas Corp) and $GNRT. The key question is: what could serve as the catalyst for higher oil prices?
