Portfolio Update: steady progress continues Markets don’t need fireworks to make progress , they need consistency. This week reinforced that idea, with the portfolio extending its positive start to the year. Closed the week still in positive territory, and month-to-date performance now stands at +3.05%. Not explosive, not flashy, but exactly the kind of progress I aim for. What moved the portfolio The same balance that helped earlier in the month continues to work: - Growth exposure benefited from relatively stable sentiment - Dividend and income positions provided stability and cash flow - No single asset had to “carry” performance This is why I prefer portfolios that don’t rely on one narrative going perfectly. Income check: dividends at work again This week, income once again did its quiet but important job. Dividends came in from our monthly payers: Main Street Capital ( $MAIN (Main Street Capital Corp.) ): $0.26 / share Realty Income ( $O (Realty Income Corp) ): $0.27 / share These payments might look small in isolation, but over time they: - Support compounding - Add flexibility during volatility - Reduce the pressure to react emotionally to price swings This is why income is a core part of my long-term approach. Positioning & mindset No portfolio changes this week. My focus remains on, letting growth and income complement each other, avoiding unnecessary trading and staying disciplined with risk management A +3.05% MTD return doesn’t mean the job is done, but it does confirm that the process is working. What I’m watching next Macro remains the main variable: - Inflation trends - Rate expectations - How growth assets behave if volatility returns If markets get choppier, I expect income and diversification to continue doing the heavy lifting. The objective is unchanged, steady progress over time not chasing weekly performance.
