As part of the rebalance process, the Investment Team conducts research into the theme, updating the list of relevant assets involved in the industry. During the year, new companies might have IPO-ed, new instruments might have been added to the platform while others have become obsolete. Once the universe of relevant assets is compiled, the portfolio is reweighted in order to avoid the concentration of capital in specific assets, which can occur over the course of the trading year. You might see some existing assets remain in the portfolio as new assets are also included this year, while other assets drop out.
