Big Tech or Big Spend? What used to be a low assets business model has turned into a massive investment spree by big Tech , mainly Datacenters and AI investments. This year, analysts expect Meta to spend $67 billion on CapEx, or 36% of estimated revenue. Meanwhile money keeps flowing to the semi conductor industry mainly $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) , while the industry itself is making massive investments anticipating future demand to continue. On the other side we have $INTC (Intel) that announced yesterday a scale back of its initial plans canceling completely its Germany and Poland Fab plants and “consolidating” everywhere else. Its Flagship Ohio Fab is also slowing down construction to “ensure spending is aligned with market demand.” Check below in the comments for “CapEx to Revenue” graphs on $META (Meta Platforms Inc) $googl $MSFT (Microsoft) and $AMZN (Amazon.com Inc) Meme source: https://x.com/ContrarianCurse/status/1944831439633047932 Graphs from fiscal.ai/
