Market update follow-up - PCE in line, stocks bounce. Core PCE came in as expected at 2.9% YoY and 0.2% MoM, easing nerves after three red sessions. Index moves: Dow +0.6%, S&P 500 +0.5%, Nasdaq +0.2% this morning. New tariff noise: the White House floated a 100% levy on branded drugs made outside the U.S., plus higher duties on heavy trucks and some furniture starting Oct 1. Extra headlines: TikTok U.S. spinoff order signed (price tag debate continues). Outlook: In-line inflation keeps the cut path intact, but tariff escalation and shutdown risk can cap rallies. I’m staying rule-based here and watching the dollar and 10-year for direction. Not financial advice.
