Dear copiers,
July was overall a slow month for the portfolio, with some ups and downs due to the early earnings, which accelerated in early August (one position up nearly 20% after earnings yesterday).
As expected in last monthโs update, we are indeed looking at a lot of volatility ahead with the earnings season kicking off, as many companies will begin talking about tariffs and estimating their effect.
Also as expected, OPEC has announced another production ramp-up that made oil stocks also fall so far, getting many oil stocks on my watchlist very close to a buy level.
Last month, I also opened my first position in $CMCSA (Comcast Corp) as I believe it offers quite a compelling opportunity now, with very solid cash flows and dividends, plus potential to recover from several catalysts.
