A recent Q2 report raised questions about one of cryptoโs most-used stats: Total Value Locked (TVL).
๐โฏTVL tracks how much crypto is locked into a networkโs smart contractsโand is often used to judge the size or success of a project. But after analyzing over 300 tokens, researchers found no clear link between high TVL and better performance.
Instead, other signals, such as how a network is used or what it helps people do, may offer more insight.
