🫱🏼🫲🏽 Yesterday, the cruise line announced that it has signed an agreement with shipbuilder Meyer Turku to order a fourth Icon Class ship, with a delivery in 2027. This agreement also included options to build a fifth and sixth Icon Class ship!
⚓️ These shipbuilding options mean that Royal Caribbean has not committed to ordering these ships, but the space in the shipyard is “reserved” in case they later decide to order two more Icon Class ships.
🌎 The second Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas, is currently under construction at the Finnish shipyard and will be delivered next summer. A third Icon will arrive sometime in 2026!
