After careful analysis, I'm closing my IB01.L (iShares Treasury Bond 0-1yr) position today.
Why I'm selling:
โ Lowest performer in my portfolio (+0.87% return)
โ Bonds underperforming in current market environment
โ At 47 years old with a 20-year investment horizon, I don't need defensive assets
โ Better opportunities in growth assets (tech ETFs & crypto)

Invested: $116.68
Current Value: $35.60
Profit: +$0.31 (+0.87%)
Holding Period: ~3 months
What's next?
I'm reallocating this capital to QQQ (Nasdaq 100 ETF) and TRX (Tron) for higher growth potential.
Lesson learned: Bonds have their place, but not in a growth-focused portfolio with a long time horizon. Sometimes the "safe" choice is the riskiest for long-term wealth building.
