𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝟭𝟭𝙩𝙝 - 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 $DIS (Walt Disney) ᴅɪsɴᴇʏ down 5% pre-market as subscriber growth was a miss yesterday after the bell. Expectations were for Disney+ subscriptions to grow roughly 1% during the quarter to reach 163.17 million users. Instead, the service saw a 2% decline in memberships, falling to 157.8 million subscribers from 161.8 million as of Dec. 31. On the positive side though, theme parks delivered better than expected rev numbers helping, along with higher subscription revenue at Disney+ and improving results at ESPN+ level, Disney achieve a lower operating loss than anticipated by the Street. $GOOG (Alphabet) ɢᴏᴏɢʟᴇ up 1.5% pre-market after its announcements yesterday which were all about AI. ✉️ Gmail - getting a "help me write" feature to help you write messages 💲 Google Sheets, Docs and Slides - Now has generative AI imbedded to get you started on your work. 🗺️ Google Maps rolling out an immersive route view to give you a birds-eye view of your route before you take it 🔎 Google search - also now has AI built in to help you get to an answer sooner. 📱Hardware - all of Google's new phones and hardware are leveraging their AI chips to embed AI processing capabilities into the device $HOOD (Robinhood Markets Inc.) I find the ʀᴏʙɪɴʜᴏᴏᴅ news quite interesting and potentially game changing. Other than the better than expected results they announced, Robinhood also plans to offer 24-hour trading of selected stocks and exchange-traded funds, five days a week. Something other don't do yet and could help them keep on growing active users. (not one name I have been trading lately but have been watching it closely and this news might push me to buy some soon) Other names that we have in our portfolio : $U (Unity Software Inc.) ᴜɴɪᴛʏ sᴏғᴛᴡᴀʀᴇ up 10 pre-market on strong guidance. $BYND (Beyond Meat Inc.) ʙᴇʏᴏɴᴅ ᴍᴇᴀᴛ also delivered better numbers than expectations. ᴍᴀɢɴɪᴛᴇ ɪɴᴄ, the world's largest independent sell-side advertising company, up 14 premarket reported better than expected numbers with 20% margin and optimism for the rest of the year.. One name that i like and will continue holding I think. Going to try and make this little note as often as possible if you find it interesting enough...
