Portfolio Update: June 30 | MTD +16.1% πŸ“Š Year-To-Date: +55% πŸš€ Welcome to our newest copiers! Thank you for your trust. At +16% June turned out to be an even better month than May (+14%). Year to date, the portfolio is up +55% compared to +10% for the $SPY (State Street SPDR S&P 500 ETF) The portfolio closed the month strong, gaining 3.3% yesterday, with Applied Materials, Corning, Lam Research, and Ultra Clean setting new 52-week highs. There was some peculiar action in Corning as it rose +15% intra-day on no news. I suspect it was a follow-through from yesterday, as it was added to several benchmarks, and there was automatic buying. I sold the rest of Dow Chemical and reduced Albelmarie. Dow was a broken momentum story while Albelmarie has been closely tracking lithium, which has pulled back, and I'm watching it. In simple terms, we are holding on to our runners while cutting back on those that detracted from performance. $SNDK (Sandisk Corp/DE) +10.9% Bernstein raised its target to $3,000 from $1,700 while maintaining an Outperform rating. Analyst Mark Newman highlighted that Sandisk's recently signed long-term agreements provide superior downside protection compared to rival Micron, with a floor price of $0.29 per gigabyte that is meaningfully higher than Micron's equivalent.
