WEDNESDAY WIND-UP SUMMARY It is yet another cold and wintery week and we are having a cold and wintery time of it in the stock market. The market as a whole is down bad, particularly for those of us invested in the tech and crypto sectors. The wise long-term investors must remember that with patience comes green, and red is a time for bargains! PORTFOLIO MOVEMENTS 7 Days (+-6.00%)❌❌❌ 1 Month (-8.02%) ❌❌❌ 6 Months (-3.14%) ❌❌ 12 Months/YTD (+3.04%) CLOSED/DECREASED POSITIONS N/A NEW/INCREASED POSITIONS $SPCE (Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc) - INCREASED - A small increase to our holdings in Virgin Galactic. The company has suffered in recent months after an announcement of higher debt ontake and delays to their consumer flight plans. This has caused the stock to drop unnaturally far. I've added a small amount to the position as I believe it is currently selling for a bargain and will move back up in the next 6-12 months when consumer flights are back on the plan. $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) -INCREASED - After the stock flew to $300 on the back of a series of announcements and general good news, we took some profits. Now it has heavily corrected back down to the low £200s, so I've picked up some more of one of our favourite positions. NOTABLE POSITIONS $BTC & $XRP - Our two crypto positions have, much like the entire crypto industry, taken a bit of a beating in the last few months. This has continued into this week with massive drops for bitcoin, down to around 33k, and thus all other coins. Bitcoin has now recovered a little back up to 37k. Let us hope this is the end of this bear cycle and that the bulls will come out to play again soon! A short and disappointing post this week. Grit your teeth guys and lets get through this, the market will shine on us again. Thanks as always to my copiers who have stuck with me through these months, in time our rewards will come! NOTE ON COPYING Due to a lot of copiers joining then dropping their position with me after a day or two, I wanted to make some things clear: - Copy Minimum Duration: I recommend AT LEAST 3 months copying with me, preferably upwards of 6 months. Copying for lower durations is much more akin to just gambling, especially if you're only copying for a couple days. You're paying the spread on all the positions you open, so short positions like this are just a waste of money (although I'm sure Etoro will thank you for it!) - Copy amount: I don't have any strong opinions on the amount you should use to copy. Copy with whatever you can. I believe the minimum copy amount on Etoro is $200, which is enough for me considering my relatively small number of positions.
